Watch Online Videos And Music On Your TV With Google Chromecast Giveaway

I love to watch shows online (Hulu is basically my best friend). Thomas is not a fan of crowding around the laptop screen to watch tv shows, so I usually end up watching my shows alone. Sad. But we have found the answer to our problem - the Google Chromecast HDMI Streaming Media Player.

It is super easy to use the Google Chromecast.
Plug it into the HDMI port on your tv, and switch your imput source. Complete the quick setup.

That's it.

You will be able to easily stream movies, music, videos, and anything on the web on your tv with the press of a button. My Nexus 7 easily controls the Chromecast, but you can also use a smartphone or laptop.

The Chromecast is a Google product, but it works with iOS, and Chrome for Mac and Windows, as well as Android operating systems, so you aren't left out of the fun if you have an Apple product.

You use your device to control the Chromecast, so you don't have to worry about adding yet another remote to your collection.

Right now, the Chromecast supports Netflix, YouTube, HBO GO, Hulu Plus, Pandora, and Google Play Movies and Music. It will also cast anything you are viewing on the Chrome browser to your tv. This opens up a plethora of opportunities.

Being a homeschooling mom, the first thing I think of is how it could be especially useful for homeschool families and groups who want to easily stream a website or online video on a large screen. But that is far from the only use. The simple set up and small size make it easy to take the Chromecast with you, and use it anywhere.

    I would definitely stream HBO Go! Right now we use our PS3 to get Netflix and Amazon Prime stuff but it's not yet able to play HBO Go stuff!! AARG.

    Definitely Netflix! We have a Smart TV in the living room, but we have a TV in one of the bedrooms too, so it'd be nice to be able to stream there as well. :)

    If I won this ChromeCast, I would stream movies from Netflix and TV shows from the network websites. Basically, I'd stream everything because we cut the cable cord three years ago and watch from our laptop, streaming to the TV would be amazing :)

    Love that idea for the TV we need to get for the bedroom. Used to have a Roku, but unfortunately it didn't make the move with us. We're definitely Netflix and Hulu people.

    We're seriously researching alternatives to regular satellite TV, and this sounds like what we need! I need to look into what I can stream...but I'm thinking as long as I can watch current movies, I'm good!
