Are you ready to feel hungry? This is what we ate at Beth's Burger Bar:
Let's start with the sides. French fries. Sweet potato fries. Frickles.
Frickles are fried pickles, y'all. Fried pickles with homemade horseradish dip. Everything about that last sentence is delicious.
I know you want to see a close-up shot of Thomas' fancy burger. It has tomatoes, lettuce, A1, bleu cheese, and jalapenos.
This is my cheeseburger up close. It has mustard, ketchup, A1, and extra pickles. (I love my pickles.)
Katarina had peanut butter sauce on her cheeseburger, which sounds a little scary, but was actually really good. It is a special honey peanut butter sauce that they make there at the restaurant.
This is Beth, the queen of hamburgers. She opened Beth's Burger Bar a few months ago, and describes it as a "big kid's diner" (they have beer and wine). It is a perfect hang out place - good food, cool vibe, and great music. And she makes amazing homemade chocolate chip cookies, too.
You can find all of the fun hamburger toppings listed on the Beth's Burger Bar website, and like her on facebook where (as much as I love Five Guys) I giggled when I saw her about section say, "Proof once again that one girl can beat five guys!"
*This post is in no way sponsored. I just love a great hamburger and a fun place to eat, and I wanted to share. If you are in Orlando, you should definitely check them out.
Did you seriously have to post that?? Where am I supposed to get a burger like that here in TX?????
ReplyDeleteYou probably can't get a burger like that in TX....which means you will just have to come visit me! ;-)
DeleteI was hungry just reading your title...but seeing your pictures and hearing about them, OMG YUM!! Yep, now I'm in search of a snack. --Lisa
ReplyDeleteSnacks are good. Looking at this post is making me want to go visit Beth's again right now - but it is probably a little early in the day for a hamburger.
DeleteO my goodness Tracie this looks good.....
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed it!
DeleteForget the fried pickles..the pictures of the fresh pickles are driving me crazy! I have a big pickle thing, when I'm pregnant and when I'm not. Lifelong. Those burgers look like the perfect size too!
ReplyDeleteMmm! I love all pickles. The ones on the burger were pickle perfection. SO good.
DeleteNever heard of peanut butter sauce honey or otherwise........but it does sound nice
ReplyDeleteI was very skeptical - but it was really good. A unexpectedly magical pairing.
Delete{Melinda} I'm not a big burger person, but these look great. My local favorite burger joint is Five Guys. :)
ReplyDeleteIf you like Five Guys (I do too!) you would definitely like these.
DeleteI think I just died and went to heaven. I love me a good burger. Too bad I am nowhere near Orlando. Fried pickles?! Wow. Not sure I'd try those (don't think my waistline would enjoy it) but then again, with a foodie husband I just might.
ReplyDeleteStopping by via SITS.
It is all about moderation, right? So a few are okay, but a plate full is probably too much (not that that has ever stopped me before).
DeleteI think Beth and I need to become best friends. However, Beth needs to eat some of her own food. She's too skinny to own a hamburger joint!
ReplyDeleteShe is so cute. I think I need to become her best friend too. Maybe I could help taste test new burger ideas.
DeleteI haven't had fried pickles in FOREVER. Now I'm drooling.
ReplyDeleteIt had been a long time for me, too. They were SO good. SO GOOD.
DeleteYumm! Is Orlando too far to go for a good burger?
ReplyDeleteNot at all!! ;-)
DeleteI am speechless. And drooling. OMG.
ReplyDeleteOne day, when y'all come down here to visit, we will have to go there. You will love it!
DeleteYes!! I know you will love it.
