Today, this is that thing:
This week Amy Sullivan wrote a beautiful letter to her daughters encouraging them to use their words. For just a moment, I pretended I was her daughter, and let this wisdom wash over me.
"Your words won't always be met with the roaring laughter
and thundering applause of a studio audience.
Who cares. Say them anyway." - Amy Sullivan
Usually I only share one thing, but Jackie Shaw left this beautiful quote on my facebook page yesterday, and I couldn't resist passing it along to you.
"Walk with the dreamers, the believers, the courageous, the cheerful, the planners, the doers, the successful people with their heads in the clouds and their feet on the ground." - Wilfred A. Peterson
I hope you find yourself surrounded by people who inspire you this weekend, and that you have a chance to speak words that will inspire them in return. Your words have power. Share them.
Both great quotes. I need them both. I need to keep reading them, so they'll sink in! Thanks for sharing :)
