My Canadian half is feeling thankful today, because it is Canadian Thanksgiving.
So I thought I would give you a list of half the things I'm thankful for today.
(not the same as things I'm only half thankful for)
(not the same as things I'm only half thankful for)
A half-list of thankfulness:
1. Cool, night air.
3. A kid who says persnickety.
5. Cinnamon rolls.
7. Books.
Boxes of books.
9. Giggly video chats.
11. Love.
13. Leaves that change colors,
and friends who send them to my inbox when I can't see them in person.
15. Hope.
17. Mexican food.
19. Family.

Happy Thanksgiving Day to you! :)
ReplyDeleteI heard it was Thanksgiving there in Canada this weekend. I can't begin to tell you how being grateful changed/saved my life! Are you on google friends connect? Would love to add you on my reader.
ReplyDeleteThere is a lot of power in gratefulness, and really focusing on it.
DeleteWhat a fantastic list! I'm thankful for my family and friends and for carrot cake with an inch of cream cheese frosting! LOL
ReplyDeleteMmmm. Now I want to visit you, and have some carrot cake. That sounds fabulous (especially the frosting)!
DeleteHappy Thanksgiving:)
ReplyDeleteGreat list!
ReplyDeleteI'm grateful for taking my kids to their first NY Giants home game yesterday. It was the 4th best day of my life after getting married and having my kids. Seriously, the best and something I would've only talk about doing just a year ago.
ReplyDeleteThat is so awesome!! I'm happy y'all had such a fun trip. Definitely something to be thankful for.
DeleteI'm thankful for:
ReplyDeletesore muscles after running
food cooking and friends over
funny kids and kisses from little ones who put their hands on your cheeks
my bed and my comforter
the tree in front of my window
soft lighting
that first sip of coffee
a book you can lose yourself in
and mercy - God's mercy, people's mercy. Just mercy.
I love this list.
DeleteAnd Mercy.
I'm thankful for mercy too. It is a precious blessing.
These are good things. Happy Canadian Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteI like your list - happy Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteHope is the best of all.
ReplyDeleteHappy Half Thanksgiving.
It was glorious over here in Canada.
I'll save the turkey neck for you :)
I'm a good friend like that.
Yes. It is all about the hope.
DeleteI'm not sure about turkey necks, but I could definitely go for some pie ;-)
