This last month has not been an easy time for my family. I wrote out one of my favorite quotes as a reminder to myself, and noticed that Heart-Shaped Rock fit perfectly on the yellow heart. She has been sitting next to my computer, keeping me company, and making me smile every time I looked over at her.
We took her on a trick or treating adventure, where I'm happy to report our Heart-Shaped Rock made friends with a package of M&Ms. A yellow package, of course. It was love at first sight.
The next stop for the Traveling Heart-Shaped Rock Project is New York, where our gem will be visiting Nicki at Diaries of a Neurotic Non-Trad. Heart-Shaped Rock is quite an experienced traveler, as this will be her 24th blogger visit.
Farewell Heart-Shaped Rock. I will miss you...but I'm sure you will have lots of fun hanging with Nicki. Maybe you will even get to play in the snow!
This is the first time I've heard about the rock...I'd love it to come visit Canada again ;)
ReplyDeleteLove that quote.
Ohhh is that your necklace from me??!! I love it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous rock - such a cool trip!
ReplyDeleteI love your pics with the traveling rock! I can't wait to visit with it! I really hope it doesn't get to see the snow though! I can wait a bit longer for that! =) Thanks for the shout out for my blog! Newly following you as a "Sister T.H.S.R.P-er"!!
ReplyDeleteOoh, I love the concept of the traveling rock. And the heart shape? Well that just makes it more awesome.
ReplyDeleteHi, this is my first visit to your blog and I love your masthead photos (esp. the b and w one of you, your daughter, and two colored fedoras).
ReplyDeleteI was supposed to receive a Mr. Bacon bendy doll in the mail from another blogger who is doing a similar round-the-blogosphere post using an object (Mr. B) - to your heart shaped rock one. My problem is poor Mr. B must've gotten eaten by a hungry postal worker because he never showed up! But at least now after reading your post I know what I was meant to have posted about...(-:
Going to have to find me another Mr. Bacon, somewhere...! Bon voyage, heart-shaped rock!
Oh, I love a good quote. I am writing this one down now.
