Indivisible by Kristen Heitzmann is the story of a small town Police Chief, Jonah Westfall, and a girl from his past, Tia Manning. They find themselves thrown together again and again as he investigates strange crimes of animal mutilation and a new man in town who seems to have more than his fair share of problems, there is other situations going on in their small town, a new vet, an old friend who needs some help, and Piper who has dreams bigger than the bakery she works in. Will they be able to move beyond their shattered pasts and start new friendships and relationships?
This book is slow starting. You find yourself with more questions than answers, but after reading through the first five or six chapters, I found myself pulled into the story. The characters are interesting and the story line is well thought out, with lots of good twists and turns. It s definitely an enjoyable read and keeps you guessing until the end!
