That little girl
By: Kristin Davis
There is a little girl over there,
You do not know her, but you will,
She is quiet and shy,
And she sits there and cries
She sits there and cries and nobody consoles her,
Nobody, except her,
She sits there all alone,
With nobody to turn to
Will you help that little girl?
Others have tried, but she did not let them in,
Will you succeed where others have failed?
Will you be the one she cries to?
Can you help her heal from this pain?
Can she even heal?
She is quiet and shy,
And she sits there and cries
She sits there and cries and nobody consoles her,
Nobody, except her,
She sits there all alone,
With nobody to turn to
Will you help that little girl?
Others have tried, but she did not let them in,
Will you succeed where others have failed?
Will you be the one she cries to?
Can you help her heal from this pain?
Can she even heal?
So many poems of pain in survivors lives. We can help others heal from the pain by just telling them we understand so well
